JCRC-NM Supports the People of Israel’s Safety Amid Threats from Iranian Regime

The Jewish Community Relations Coalition of New Mexico (JCRC-NM) stands in unwavering solidarity with the people of Israel as they face escalating threats to their safety, security, and sovereignty.

 Israel, like any nation, has the fundamental right and responsibility to defend itself against existential threats. The Iranian regime’s continued pursuit of nuclear weapons, along with its destabilizing actions throughout the region and support for terror proxies such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, poses a serious danger not only to Israel, but to global peace and security.

 This is not a political issue—it is a matter of national survival. At this critical moment, we affirm Israel’s right to take all necessary and legitimate steps to ensure the safety of its citizens and the protection of its future.

 As families across Israel take shelter from incoming rockets, we offer our enduring support and heartfelt prayers for their safety and strength.
