JCRC-NM Represents in the NYC Israel Parade

JCRC-NM organized a delegation of 18 participants, including families and teenagers, to represent New Mexico at the Israel Parade in New York City, marking what is believed to be the first organized delegation from New Mexico to participate in the parade.

The May 31^st parade drew approximately 50,000 participants and spectators, and our New Mexico delegation received a warm welcome from the thousands of people lining the parade route.

The JCRC-NM delegation walked proudly alongside thousands of participants from Jewish communities across the country and around the world in a powerful display of unity, Jewish pride, and support for Israel.

This opportunity was supported by a grant that helped make the experience accessible to families and youth from our community.
