The Jewish Community Relations Coalition of New Mexico (JCRC-NM) is a coalition of over 25 Jewish religious, educational, advocacy, cultural, and social service organizations representing diverse perspectives of the Jewish community in our state. Collectively, our partner organizations constitute the vast majority of the organized Jewish community in central and northern New Mexico and include thousands of Jewish New Mexicans.

Our Mission: JCRC-NM builds and fosters relationships that advance the values, interests and security of the New Mexico Jewish community, promotes knowledge of and support for Israel, and cultivates intercultural understanding and collaboration between the Jewish and broader community.
Our goals: 

• Work to ensure the safety and security of the New Mexico Jewish community in the face of rising hatred against Jews.

• Support the State of Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people

• Foster understanding of the Jewish community’s relationship with Israel, and increase knowledge about, exposure to, and engagement with the State of Israel and the Jewish people among diverse groups of New Mexicans.

• Engage diverse groups and perspectives within the Jewish community to promote a deeper understanding of each other and take joint action on behalf of the community.

• Speak on behalf of the Jewish community on a core set of priorities developed collectively and through consensus among coalition partners.

• Engage and collaborate with the broader New Mexico community and develop relationships to foster mutual respect, advocate on shared values, and promote democratic values.
